General Terms and Conditions for Tourist Camping

1. Formation of the Contract
1.1 Reservations can be made in writing, by telephone, via email, or through an online form.
1.2 The camper's registration constitutes an offer to enter into a camping contract. This contract is only formed upon written confirmation of the booking by the campsite.
1.3 While we are happy to reserve a preferred pitch for you, please note that there is no entitlement to a specific pitch and/or pitch number. Should a change of pitch become necessary, we will make every effort to provide you with a comparable alternative.

2. Charges

2.1 The prices for our camping services are based on the campsite's annually updated price lists.
2.2 It is the guest's responsibility to inquire about the prices applicable at the time of booking.
2.3 A current overview of prices for all services (pitch rentals, package deals, usage fees, etc.) can be found online and on our notice board.
2.4 Bookings made beyond the current season may differ from the advertised prices.

3. Arrival and Departure Times

3.1 The pitch is available to the camper from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. For arrivals after 7:00 PM, we kindly request prior notification.
3.2 The pitch must be vacated by 12:00 PM (noon) on the day of departure. Additional charges may apply for exceeding this deadline. The camper is responsible for vacating the pitch in accordance with the contract.
3.3 Access to the campsite is controlled by an automated barrier system supported by license plate recognition. Use of the barrier system during quiet hours (from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM) and driving on the premises are not permitted.
3.4 By booking a pitch, the camper agrees that the data of their vehicle license plate may be recorded to regulate access to the campsite via the automated barrier system and to ensure compliance with the terms of use. The recording and processing of this data are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
4. Stay / Visitors

4.1 The campsite may only be used by the number of persons registered. Visitors must be registered before entering the premises.
4.2 A pitch may only be occupied by one camping unit (1 tent or 1 caravan including 1 car, or 1 motorhome). Additional camping units and vehicles require approval from the reception.
4.3 The camper and their accompanying persons acknowledge and agree to comply with the site rules, which form part of the contract. These rules are posted on the information board at the entrance area and are also available online.
4.4 To ensure a quiet night, quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Noise and disruptive activities should be avoided during this time.
4.5 Please note that noise disturbance from loud music or similar disruptive sounds will not be tolerated during the day either.

5. Rebooking/Cancellation of a Pitch Contract
5.1 Rebookings are only possible in exceptional cases and must be requested in writing at least 1 month before the planned arrival date. There is no legal entitlement to a rebooking.
5.2 Cancellation of the contract:
-
When booking a pitch, a deposit of €50 is due, which will be retained as a cancellation fee if the booking is cancelled up to 14 days before the planned arrival date.
-
If the cancellation is made less than 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged, with a minimum of €50, minus any deposit already paid.
5.3 In case of no-show without prior notice of cancellation, delayed arrival, shortening of the stay, or early departure, the full contractual charge becomes due.

6. Defects
6.1 If the assigned pitch or other contractual services do not meet the agreed specifications, this must be reported to the campsite management on the day of discovery or at the latest on the following day.
7. Film and Photography Work
7.1 At regular intervals, we carry out photography, as well as video and audio recordings on the Okertalsperre campsite.
7.2 These recordings may capture guests and the campsite grounds and may be used for advertising and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, or other marketing materials.
7.3 By making a booking and entering the campsite, you implicitly agree that photo and video recordings may be taken during your stay.
7.4 If you do not wish for photographs to be taken during your stay, please notify the photographer or camera team promptly.
7.5 Any objection raised later against recordings already taken can no longer be considered.
8. Pets
8.1 Dogs are permitted on the campsite but must be kept on a leash at all times.
8.2 Dog owners are required to promptly remove and properly dispose of their pets' waste.
8.3 Please dispose of the waste properly in the general waste bin to keep the premises clean.

9. Update of Terms and Conditions
9.1 Camping Okertalsperre Kroes GbR reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
9.2 The updated terms will take effect immediately upon being published on the campsite's website or otherwise communicated.
9.3 It is the responsibility of campers to regularly review the Terms and Conditions to stay informed about any changes or updates.
9.4 By continuing to use the services of the campsite after changes or updates to the Terms and Conditions have been published, the camper agrees to the modified terms.

10. Campground Rules

10.1 The campground operator retains full authority over the premises.
10.2 The site regulations, which govern the interaction of guests and pets on the grounds during their stay, form part of these Terms and Conditions.
10.3 The site regulations are posted at the reception and will be provided upon request.
10.4 Verbal information, supplementary agreements, and other assurances of any kind require written confirmation to be valid.
10.5 In all other respects, statutory regulations shall apply.

11. Severability Clause
11.1 Should one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
11.2 The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible, in economic and legal terms, to what the parties intended with the original provision.
11.3 This shall also apply to any contractual gaps.

We wish you a pleasant stay and look forward to welcoming you to our campsite.
